A very recent post of mine Valentines Day a Guy's Perspective, was just how guys feel at Valentines Day.

I    nspite of those feelings still, Guys, you have to gift something to your Girlfriend's or wife's.

    Here are few worst gifts, you should avoid on Valentines day and a very few suggestion for what can be called a better or good Valentines Day Gift

    10- Video Game
    Come On, how many times have you seen her playing a video game, this gift says, I gave you a gift now I will use it.

    9- Long stem roses-flowers
    No no, don't give a bunch of flowers, if you really want give a single rose. Girls view on this gift is - "I appreciate the thought, but I not a candy person and flowers just die anyway" . She want something to last for ever, its a day celebrating Love/ relationship. Also in this time of recession, instead of wasting money on flowers buy something useful. Keep in mind 'carnations' are a friendly flower,if you gift it, you are saying "I love you Friend" and not "I love you Girl Friend". Also avoid Elephant Poop Roses, it may send a message Love Stincs ;)

    8- Hockey Tickets
    Is she really into Hockey or she goes to game just to be with you? Hockey game does not have a personal touch. Much better would be to make a collaze of photos of Hockey game, you both have attended together.

    7- Gym Membership/Exercise equipment
    Do you plan to break-up! Yes, then its perfect gift, else this gift simply means,"Darling you are fat, join Gym"

    6- Vacuum Cleaner/Cleaning Products
    Its for your wife, who is always working,cleaning home , what your gift says is, this is the best work,thing you do and she has nothing else to look forward too. Same is case with a toaster or other practical appliance, give a appliance when you say "I love you Home" and not "I love you honey"

    5- Trinkets
    Hmm, so you forgot Valentines day and didn't buy a gift for her in time. Now while coming to her, you picked up what ever you can. To play safe, if this is what you want to gift, atleast take her to the dollar store and let her choose the Trinkets

    4- Gag Gifts
    Gag Gifts companies should mention, these are for April fool's day or any other day then Valentine or Birthday or Anniversary. Again its a gift guys enjoy more, you gift it so you can have fun. But Valentines day is not a day to have fun but to make her feel special.Fart cushions and fake vomit are included in this category.

    3- Sugar free candy or other low calorie treats
    They will work the same explosion as Gym membership, as it gives a message, enjoy chocolates but don't gain any more weight or have chocolates and still loose weight.

    2- Wrinkle Reducing Pillow
    OOooo! do you mean, she is looking old! You are solid gone man!

    1- Nothing
    Highest on the list is "nothing". As this means, you forgot her, forgot Valentines Day and you take her for granted.

    Ok! Now the big question is, what can be the best gift and you know this gift will work well in recession and any other time to. If you are in a short term relationship, gift anything as you don't care much .

    For a long term relationship, Best Valentine Gift for less, or in recession, or skipping these, still Best Valentine Gift is a Shadow box full of pictures of time you both have spent time together or a Colaze of unforgatable moments. Voted Best Valentines Gift for Her.
